GREENWICH, CT — After five years of ownership, Mill Road Capital, a private equity firm and the majority owner of Vision7 International, is exploring "strategic alternatives" for its North American assets.

The Quebec City-based Vision7  is an international marketing communications company, specializing in advertising, media planning and buying, public relations and other related marketing services disciplines. Vision7 is the holding company of agency brands including Cossette, Jungle Media, Citizen Relations and Dare.

Vision7, formerly known as the publicly traded Cossette, was taken private by Mill Road and senior management in 2009 and management continues to hold a significant ownership stake in the company.

The private equity fund released the following statement:

“Vision7 management is supportive of the review and is playing a major role in the process. While the company cannot speculate about potential outcomes, any decisions from the strategic review will include the best interests of its clients and employees and continued leadership from the management team.”
