Public Affairs Exec Joins Edelman L.A.

Edelman Public Relations Worldwide has named veteran Los Angeles PR professional Adi Liberman executive vice president and head of the public affairs and issues management practice in the city.

LOS ANGELES—Edelman Public Relations Worldwide has named veteran Los Angeles PR professional Adi Liberman executive vice president and head of the public affairs and issues management practice in the city. Liberman formerly served as a senior vice president at Winner & Associates.

According to Gail Becker, executive vice president and general manager of Edelman Los Angeles, “Adi brings the firm unparalleled political expertise, strategic thinking, media skills and superior knowledge of public policy issues, particularly in the environmental, water and energy arenas.”

Prior to joining Winner & Associates, Liberman served as chief of staff for Los Angeles city councilmember and former council president Ruth Galanter from 1995 to 2001. He advised the city council and senior city staff and was instrumental in developing the city’s electricity policy. He also served as executive director for Heal the Bay, one of the nation’s most effective environmental advocacy organizations.
