WASHINGTON, DC—Veteran public policy counselors from Washington, DC, and state capitals across the US have formed Agenda, a national public affairs firm.

Agenda is directed by three partners: Craig Pattee, former president of Washington lobbying firm Dutko Worldwide and an expert in engaging governors on federal issues; Doug Turner, former chief executive of DW Turner, a leading southwestern public affairs firm; and Max Hamel, former partner at Allied Public Affairs, with experience organizing multistate public affairs campaigns.

According to Turner, “Agenda has capacity to easily manage full-scale corporate campaigns in all 50 states while at the same time maintaining the agility of a small firm where clients get cutting edge service from agency principals.”

Agenda will specialize in five core areas: advocacy and grassroots; strategic communication; bilingual and multicultural programs; digital and creative services; and issues management. It will be headquartered in Washington, DC, with offices in Albuquerque, Austin, Denver, Miami, Jackson, Wyo., and San Francisco.

Other key personnel include Christian Goff, partner, head of Agenda’s Austin office, and an expert in energy issues; Chris Taylor, chief operating officer; Freddy Balsera, senior advisor specializing in bilingual and multicultural outreach; Chris Talbot, senior advisor specializing in digital and social media strategy; and Jenny Mayfield, senior advisor specializing in environmental and natural resource issues.
