PARIS — Publicis Groupe has announced a reorganisation of the holding group into four units, which will see PR network MSLGroup sit alongside advertising and digital agencies in the Publicis Communications group.

The move, which has been expected since CEO Maurice Levy brought together 350 staffers in San Francisco earlier this year to proclaim the "power of one", also sees the creation of three other units: Publicis Media, Publicis.Sapient and Publicis Healthcare.

Agencies in each unit will share resources and tools and be led by one chief client officer each, with all chief client officers overseen by Laura Desmond, who takes on a new role as group chief revenue officer. In a statement, the group said that "the identity and

the success of each of the Groupe’s brands will be preciously preserved and nurtured."

Publicis Worldwide CEO Artur Sadoun, who added responsibility for MSLGroup earlier this year, will oversee Publicis Communications, expanding his remit to also include Nurun, Saatchi & Saatchi, Leo Burnett, BBH, Marcel and production hub Prodigious.

The move was forecast by several Publicis executives earlier this year, in a Holmes Report analysis that investigated MSLGroup's efforts to achieve better integration with its sibling firms.

In addition, Publicis Groupe's smaller markets, which account for 10% of revenue, will be managed by a new entity called Publicis One, led by CEO by Jarek Ziebinski.
