WASHINGTON, D.C., August 2—Veteran public affairs counselor Charles Pucie has joined the Washington office of Fleishman-Hillard as senior counselor.

Pucie’s experience includes positions with Chase Manhattan Bank, Doremus & Company, and Hill & Knowlton, and seven years as chief executive of Capitoline International Group, a public affairs him he founded after a contentious split from H&K. He joins F-H from the Knights of Columbus where he held the organization’s top external affairs post and was its official public spokesman.

Pucie brings to the firm and its clients “an extraordinary background in strategic counseling and managing the full spectrum of communications programs for blue chip corporations, industry associations, and other institutions,” says Martha Boudreau, general manager. She says she expects Pucie’s experience in the international arena to be particularly valuable.

HONG KONG—In a separate announcement, Fleishman-Hillard has promoted Beth Bosell, senior vice president and partner, to managing director of the firm’s Hong Kong office. Since 1998, Boswell has been head of the advanced technology practice in the Asia-Pacific region, overseeing regional accounts across 14 countries.
