WESTFORD—Sporting goods company Puma has named New York-based Lime as its public relations agency of record. Puma awarded the account to Lime after a competitive search that included a number of leading international agencies.

“We wanted to hire a talented agency to handle our international public relations initiatives that understood our strategy to further strengthen the Puma brand worldwide,” says Antonio Bertone, global director of brand management. “We are planning an exciting, non-traditional approach to capture our consumers’ attention.”

Lime is a division of ad agency kirshenbaum bond & partners, and a full-service communications company offering strategic public relations and promotions services.

“PUMA is a brand with tremendous recognition, heritage and passion,” said Lime president Claudia Strauss. “There are great synergies we share with PUMA stemming from similarities with our professional culture, personality and vision.”
