WASHINGTON, D.C.— Qorvis Communications has formed a strategic partnership with Abrams Research, a new global media relations strategy firm, led by NBC News chief legal analyst and former general manager of MSNBC Dan Abrams. The alliance will connect Qorvis to a global network of media professionals who provide local and regional insight throughout the world, aiding message development and targeted media strategies for clients.
Launched in November 2008, Abrams Research has created an extensive international database of media insiders including bloggers, current and former TV journalists, and magazine and print editors. They provide counsel on media strategies, message development, content creation and social media.
According to Qorvis, the global reach of the network also offers grassroots-level insight into distant, hard-to-reach markets.
Abrams is the former general manager of MSNBC and a Columbia University-trained attorney, who has appeared on NBC News and MSNBC as a reporter and anchor since 1995. He remains with NBC News and MSNBC as a contributor in the role of chief legal analyst.
