WASHINGTON, D.C.—Quinn Gillespie & Associates has hired Christopher Brown as director of digital strategy, responsible for developing digital advocacy programs for the firm’s clients. Brown's position is part of an expansion of QGA's strategic communications practice that began with the addition of QGA communications director Matt Dornic and the acquisition of media boutique 3 Dog Agency earlier this year.
Brown has helped global brands, associations, nonprofits and news organizations develop digital advertising, public relations and public affairs programs. Prior to QGA, Chris worked for KRON-TV in San Francisco and most recently was managing editor for new media at the Fox television show America's Most Wanted. He also served as the 2009 co-chair for new media and professional development at the National Press Club.
