CARY, NC—R.H. Donnelley Corporation, one of the nation’s leading yellow pages and local online search companies, has named Tyler Gronbach vice president of corporate communications, a newly created position. Gronbach will be responsible for developing and implementing an integrated strategy for the company’s communications activities.

Most recently, Gronbach served as vice president of corporate communications for Qwest Communications in Denver, where he was responsible for implementing programs for employee communications, executive communications, global media relations, stakeholder communications and advocacy, and marketing public relations communications for businesses, consumers and industry analysts.

Prior to joining Qwest, Gronbach held management positions with LCI International, a leading telecommunications company, and public relations agencies in Washington, D.C. and New York.

Gronbach, who had expertise in transactions and merger integrations, joins Donnelley as the company is working on the acquisition of Dex Media, a deal that could create one of the country’s largest print and Internet directory publishers.
