Racepoint Rebrands As Racepoint Global, Restructures

Racepoint Group, the public relations and digital agency that is part of Larry Weber’s W2 Group, has rebranded as Racepoint Global.

BOSTON—Racepoint Group, the public relations and digital agency that is part of Larry Weber’s W2 Group, has rebranded as Racepoint Global and promoted several key executives. 

The rebrand completes the integration of Racepoint Group, an international public relations firms focused on technology and digital communications, and its sister company, Digital Influence Group. The merger—first reported in July last year—creates a $34 million firm with 180 people and offices in Boston, San Francisco, Washington DC, London, Hong Kong, Shanghai and Beijing. 

To support the expansion of services and evolving customer needs, the agency has named Karen Bouchard as chief human resources officer, tasked with identifying talent and ensuring training and administrative operational excellence around the globe. Kelly Houston has been promoted to vice president of HR.

At the same time, Anne Potts has been named to the newly created post of executive vice president, global client services. She will establish and implement standards and guidelines for service to ensure consistent excellence around the globe, and develop new products.

Kevin Green assumes the newly created role of executive vice president, global digital strategy & partnerships and will work closely with regional MDs in identifying and implementing digital strategies and campaign programming into existing accounts and new business.

And Ani Jigarjian is assuming the newly created position of vice president, global marketing and business development.
