NEW YORK--Euro RSCG Worldwide PR is being renamed Havas PR, as part of a rebranding initiative by the holding group.

The move sees all Euro RSCG agencies rebranded under the Havas Worldwide banner. The move means that the entire Havas group now consists of two primary brands: Havas Media, which includes all global media agencies, and Havas Creative, which includes the Havas Worldwide network, the Arnold Worldwide micronetwork and all other communications agencies in the Havas family.

The rebranding affects firms such as Euro RSCG, Euro RSCG Worldwide PR, Euro RSCG Life and Euro RSCG 4D.

The rebranding of the PR network will not, however, affect firms such as Abernathy MacGregor, Maitland and Cake Group. Havas PR North America CEO Marian Salzman told the Holmes Report that AMO (which includes Abernatch MacGregor and Maitland) and Cake will be "part of the collective, but won't wear the brand name."

She added that the move would improve the emphasis on centers of excellence and best-practice sharing - "a true collective of great and good agencies."

In recent months Euro RSCG Worldwide PR has seen two of its most senior Paris-based global executives depart. CEO Laurent Habib and COO Nathalie Biderman have both left to start their own, separate, consultancies.

The rebranding does not create any changes in leadership.
