LONDON—Crisis communications and reputation management consultancy Regester Larkin has strengthened its media relations expertise with the appointment of three new consultants: Damon Hunt, Alexandra Durnford and Ben Overlander.
Hunt joins RL having been group head of media for BAA, where he managed the BAA corporate media team and BAA Heathrow Airport’s media relations, as well as crisis communications and issues management involving a foiled terrorist attack and the associated heightened security environment, an aircraft crash and numerous environmental protests. Prior to working for BAA, Hunt worked as a press secretary to a number of senior Cabinet Ministers in Australia.
Dumford has 10 years experience advising financial and real estate clients on reputation and crisis management, internal and change communications and media relations. Prior to joining RL she worked as a consultant at Brunswick and also spent three years as part of the European press office at global real estate advisor Jones Lang LaSalle.
Overlander joins from BICOM, Britain-Israel Communications, where as head of media he helped promote a greater understanding of Israel in the British media. Prior to that, he worked for three years in the Clarence House Press Office representing the Prince of Wales, his wife and his two sons Princes William and Harry. He has also worked for Britain's leading housing charity, Shelter.
