LOS ANGELES—Hill & Knowlton USA has named Gene Reineke to take over as acting general manager of the firm’s Los Angeles office. Bonnie Goodman, former general manager, has resigned. After 25 years of service at Hill & Knowlton, Goodman plans to take her career “in a different direction,” the firm says. Goodman was named general manager in 2000.
While H&K searches for a permanent replacement as general manager, the leadership of the Los Angeles office will pass to Gene Reineke, H&K’s chief operating office, who will work alongside the office’s senior team to ensure a smooth transition.
Reineke was previously general manager of H&K’s Chicago office and from 2003 until 2005 served as interim general manager of the firm’s Washington, D.C., operations.
