Roady Joins FD to Lead Special Situations Work

FD has appointed David Roady as a managing director in the firm’s special situations group. Based in New York, Roady will help clients across the FD network with mergers and acquisitions, crisis and capital markets communications.

NEW YORK—FD has appointed David Roady as a managing director in the firm’s special situations group. Based in New York, Roady will help clients across the FD network with mergers and acquisitions, crisis and capital markets communications. He will work with managing directors Doug Donsky and Kal Goldberg of the special situations team, and Gordon McCoun, vice chairman responsible for capital markets communications.

 

FD ranked number one among M&A public relations firms in Europe and the U.K. last year, according to mergermarket (and fourth in terms of value of deals worked) but was just fifth by volume in the U.S. (and 10th by value) in the same period.

 

Roady brings more than a decade of experience in mergers and acquisitions to FD, most recently as senior vice president in M&A for Marsh & McLennan & Co. where he led transaction teams in the
