LOS ANGELES—Rogers & Associates, one of the largest independent public relations firms in the country, is changing its name to The Rogers Group.
“We think that this name change better reflects the breadth of services and capabilities we now offer our clients,” says founder and chief executive Ron Rogers. “Over the years, we have built successful and diverse group practice areas within the company, including our public affairs group, crisis communications group, latino strategies group and media strategies group. Additionally, we have forged effective partnerships with other agencies, design firms and a variety of service providers.
“We find our clients and industry colleagues continually referring to us as ‘the Rogers group.’ It is clear that this name better reflects our many internal strengths and outside collaborations.”
The firm remains under the independent ownership of Rogers and president Lynne Doll and their partners, chief financial officer Elliott Fils and executive vice presidents Manuel Camargo and Shelly Holmes. The $11 million company, which employs approximately 75 staff, is the largest independent public relations firm in the West and one of the top 10 independent firms nationwide.
