American Challenge, a consortium of business leaders, technical engineers and motor sports professionals focused on breaking the world water speed record in 2004, has selected Rogers & Cowan to promote and publicize its world record run.

LOS ANGELES—American Challenge, a consortium of business leaders, technical engineers and motor sports professionals focused on breaking the world water speed record in 2004, has selected Rogers & Cowan to promote and publicize its world record run.

Rogers & Cowan will provide media relations, personal publicity, event management, technology and interactive PR assistance for ACI, as well as corporate sponsorship and sales and marketing support.

“We feel Rogers &Cowan is uniquely positioned to help us in our efforts, not only because of their sports and entertainment expertise but its overall understanding of corporate sponsorship, technology and interactive marketing as well,” said Russ Wicks, founder of ACI and pilot of the craft.

NEW YORK—Rogers & Cowan has been selected by TV Guide magazine as its agency of record for public relations.

Matt Losordo, executive vice president, will lead the account out of New York.  The agency will handle general public relations, image building, corporate branding and relationship building needs for TV Guide magazine.
