Ruder Finn Adds Employee Branding Expert Langston

NEW YORK—David Langston has joined Ruder Finn as senior vice president, to head up the new branding and employee marketing practice in the creative services group.

Langston brings more than 25 years of experience in public relations and internal communications. Prior to joining Ruder Finn, Langston was senior vice president and U.S. director of the internal communications asset group at Hill & Knowlton.

Langston says his vision for several years has been to communicate with employees using all of the brand strategy and creativity normally reserved for consumers

“Ruder Finn has the creative horsepower and the depth of design, video and interactive services necessary to deliver on my vision,” he says. “We will create a broad complement of unique and powerful internal campaigns that will truly resonate with employees. I’m delighted to be here.”

Prior to his work at Hill & Knowlton, Langston was the CEO and senior creative director for Langston Marketing Communications in New York where he launched and developed a proprietary brand-building methodology, Creative Branding. During the Qwest-US West merger in spring 2000, Langston served as strategist, creative director and manager of all communications to launch the new Qwest brand identity to both Qwest employees and the 56,000 employees of U S West.
