NEW YORK—David Hahn, senior vice president at Planned Television Arts a division of Ruder Finn, has been appointed managing director of the division and promoted to executive vice president. He replaces Rick Frishman, who will remain senior counsel to the operation.
Hahn will be responsible for new business, financial management and overall operations. He has been with PTA since 1986 heading up its award-winning business book division while serving as Frishman’s second in command. Hahn will now oversee PTA’s broadcast media outreach, satellite TV and drive time radio tours for corporate clients as well as public relations programs involving celebrity tie-ins and product placement. PTA is also the largest book publicity agency in the country.
