NEW YORK—The Ruth Group, an investor and public relations agency dedicated to healthcare and technology, has expanded its services to include healthcare marketing. The new practice leverages TRG's track record in investor relations and public relations and its healthcare client portfolio, and the firm says it will provide existing and prospective healthcare clients with marketing strategies for product launches, clinical trial recruitment, sales force support, patient advocacy programs, and physician outreach programs.
To lead the new marketing communications team, TRG has appointed Scott Lerman as vice president. Lerman has 15 years of healthcare communications experience in implementing marketing plans across multiple medical disciplines and products, including Novo Nordisk's portfolio of insulin products and AstraZeneca's respiratory franchise. He was a vice president at Marina Maher Communications and has held postions at Burson-Marsteller, Rowland Communications, Chamberlain Communications Group, and Ketchum.
