BEIJING—The website for Holmes Report’s 2014 Asia-Pacific SABRE Awards is now open and accepting entries.
The expanded competition is seeking entries from public relations and other agencies, and from in-house PR and corporate communications departments across the Asia-Pacific region, and looks to recognize the most strategic, creative, and effective public relations programming, as well as content creation.
“Our Asia-Pacific SABRE Awards competition has grown in each of the past five years, and while we do not yet see the volume of work we see in the Americas or Europe, there’s no question that the quality of work is just as high as it is in more mature markets,” says Paul Holmes, who serves as chair of the SABRE judges.
“We have expanded the competition this year with more categories that recognize the expanded role PR is playing in the C-suite, from brand-building to reputation management, from strategic planning to measurement and evaluation,” says Holmes. “We have also increased the number of categories focused on content creation and other innovative areas—particularly important when PR firms are competing with ad and digital agencies for this kind of work.”
The early deadline for SABRE entries is July 31. Late entries will be accepted until August 11.
