LONDON—UK software company Sage has extended its relationship with Bite by handing it PR duties for its mid-market business unit.

The division, which launched at the start of 2013, houses Sage's flagship ERP X3 product. Bite secures the brief following a competitive pitch and is tasked with streamlining the company's PR approach to mid-market businesses across Europe.

Last year, Bite was named global PR agency of record by Sage, adding the company's Sage Pay brief later in the year.

The new mid-market programme will involve messaging, development and execution of a central PR strategy, the creation of content to be seeded out by local agencies, and pan-European media events.

"Content, insight and strategy sit at the heart of our work for Sage Mid Market," said Bite head of
content Mike Harvey. "This will help Sage establish a thought leadership position in a European market
where the mid-market sector is an unsung hero of the economy."
