SAN FRANCISCO—Samsung’s information technology division has selected Allison & Partners as its public relations agency of record. The firm will partner with Samsung to market products including notebook PCs, LCD monitors, laser printers and copiers, digital projectors, and professional digital signage and large format displays. Allison & Partners will help the company grow its brand, establish thought leadership and market its innovative solutions to companies in key vertical markets including Federal, state and local government, healthcare and education.

“Selecting Allison & Partners as our strategic partner is a critical next step in elevating our profile in the IT industry as our sales continue to increase,” says Doug Albregts, vice president, information technology division, Samsung Electronics America. “We were impressed with the strategic thinking and commitment to Samsung’s business demonstrated by the Allison & Partners account team and look forward to working closely with them to achieve our ambitious goals for 2010.”

Allison & Partners was selected after a competitive RFP process based on their extensive knowledge of the IT marketplace and experience as well as the agency’s groundbreaking work in digital media, development of thought leadership platforms and creative approach demonstrated during the pitch process.

A major element of the program will be communicating to the channel, through which 100 percent of Samsung ITD sales occur.

PHOENIX—Allison & Partners has also added Sea Life Arizona to its client roster. The new aquarium, opening in the summer of 2010, will be the second Sea Life aquarium launched in the U.S.
