NEW YORK—As part of the continuing realignment of Publicis Group PR holdings, The JKL Group, the second-largest public relations network in the Nordic region, has become part of Manning Selvage & Lee.  JKL was formerly a network partner of MS&L.

One result of the collaboration and integration will be the creation of MS&L Sweden, a company created by rebranding two existing JKL units, Move PR and PRfabriken. Move PR specializes in technology PR and PRfabriken specializes in consumer PR.

JKL is headquartered in Stockholm and has nearly 100 employees in its offices in Copenhagen, Gothenburg, Helsinki and Oslo. Its client list includes companies in the financial services, energy, telecommunications, construction, transportation, media, IT, pharmaceuticals, venture capital and professional services industries, among others. The firm has been a part of the Publicis Groupe since 2002.

“This alignment significantly strengthens the agency’s European network and will give MS&L and JKL new opportunities to work together and migrate existing client relationships,” says Mark Hass, MS&L’s chief executive officer. “We are really excited to be able to work even more closely with this talented team, and to benefit from their vast corporate expertise and strong Nordic client relationships.”

Anders Kempe, JKL’s chief executive officer and its co-founder, will join MS&L’s global management team. Kempe has broad experience as a communications consultant, with a strong emphasis on strategy, public affairs and financial communications.
