SAN FRANCISCO—The Charles Schwab Corporation has named Rebecca Saeger as its executive vice president of brand management and marketing communications.  Saeger joins Schwab from Visa U.S.A., where she was executive vice president of brand marketing and a member of Visa’s executive management committee.

In this newly created position, Saeger will be responsible for both firm-wide and enterprise specific communications activities that increase visibility, perception and awareness of Schwab. She will report to Jody Bilney, executive vice president and chief marketing officer.

“Becky is well known and regarded for her ability to lead business-focused communications,” said Bilney.  “She has a solid track record of success across multiple functions and businesses, and a tested ability to knit the various marketing functions together into cohesive and impactful initiatives. We are extremely pleased to have her join us at Schwab as we continue to expand our identity in the marketplace.”

Prior to joining Schwab, Saeger spent seven years at Visa U.S.A. where she led brand strategy, advertising, promotions, direct marketing, sponsorships and e-commerce marketing. Saeger has an additional 17 years of marketing experience, including senior level positions held at Foote, Cone & Belding San Francisco and Ogilvy & Mather New York.
