WALTHAM, July 31—Schwartz Communications, one of the nation’s largest high-tech and medical technology public relations firms, has formed a strategic alliance with AxiCom, a European agency also focused on the technology sector. The two firms will offer computing and medical companies integrated PR programs addressing both the U.S. and European markets.

Schwartz is the second U.S. partner for AxiCom, which has partnered with west coast tech firm Sterling Communications for the past three years.

“For some time Schwartz and AxiCom have worked together representing leading technology clients,” said Steve Schwartz, CEO and co-founder of Schwartz Communications. “Our teamwork on successful international PR programs underscored the fact that our agencies are highly compatible and share a commitment to fast-paced, aggressive programs that create results for our clients.”
AxiCom has more than 60 people in the U.K. and in offices in Munich, Paris, Stockholm, Milan, Madrid and The Hague and was named “High-tech Agency to Watch” by the U.K. edition of PR Week in 2001/2002.
