Schwarzenegger Veteran Fletcher Joins Ogilvy

Mindy Fletcher, a veteran of national and state politics, has returned to Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide, after serving as deputy chief of staff for external affairs to Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger and then deputy campaign manager to his 2006 re-election campaign.

SACRAMENTO—Mindy Fletcher, a veteran of national and state politics, has returned to Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide, after serving as deputy chief of staff for external affairs to Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger and then deputy campaign manager to his 2006 re-election campaign. Fletcher will be a senior advisor to Ogilvy’s West Coast operations, and will be based in San Diego.

 

The move reunites Fletcher with her former political partner Maggie Shandera Linden, who leads Ogilvy PR’s West Coast public affairs practice and joined Ogilvy PR in 2004 after 30 years of Democratic political and government experience in California.

 

Fletcher is a veteran of Republican political campaigns at the national and state level having been a spokesman for Governor George W. Bush, the Bush 2000 and 2004 presidential campaigns, U.S. Department of Justice, the Republican National Committee, the National Republican Congressional Committee as well as deputy chief of staff and deputy campaign manager for Governor Schwarzenegger.
