NEW YORK—Scott Beaudoin, who departed his role as MSLGroup's head of global corporate and brand citizenship late last year, has joined RF|Binder as chief strategy officer and executive MD of corporate and brand purpose.

Beaudoin arrives at RF|Binder after eight years with MSLGroup, and is tasked with overseeing CSR and sustainability at his new post.

"We believe that there is a tremendous opportunity in the sustainability and CSR area," said RF|Binder CEO Amy Binder. "As impact investing continues to grow, companies are going to have to focus more of their attention what they are doing in this area."

RF|Binder’s CSR and sustainability practice has grown in recent years, including such clients as CVS, Cargill, Capital One and Johnson’s. In addition the firm works with Pax World Investments and the Sustainability Accounting Standards Board.

"Today, purpose isn't just a practice on the sidelines, but a true differentiator in business growth, innovation and reputation," said Beaudoin. "I'm fortunate to find an agency and a CEO who understands the power it has to transcend business and strategic communications."
