WASHINGTON, D.C.—Tad Segal has rejoined Widmeyer Communications as senior vice president, leading the firm’s public affairs practice. Segal first worked for the firm in 1997 as an account manager. At that time, his clients included the United Parcel Service, an organization for which Segal would later serve as communications director.

In 2002, Segal founded WinCampaign, a high-tech political campaign and grassroots management firm serving national, state and local campaigns subsequently purchased in 2006 by one of the leading political campaign firms in Washington, D.C.

Segal has also spent nearly five years on Capitol Hill where he served as communications director to then Majority Whip Sen. Alan Simpson. Prior to joining Widmeyer, Segal served as senior counsel to Venn Strategies, a D.C.-based public affairs firm.
