Sen Joins APCO's Indian Operations

Asitava Sen, former India leader of business consulting services for the Nielsen Company and a member of the company’s South Asia executive committee, has joined APCO Worldwide, as a director.

NEW DELHI—Asitava Sen, former India leader of business consulting services for the Nielsen Company and a member of the company’s South Asia executive committee, has joined APCO Worldwide, as a director in its corporate advisory and public affairs practice. Sen will be responsible for growing APCO's food and consumer products practice in India. He will be based in APCO's New Delhi office.

 

has advised a variety of corporate clients involved in food services, fitness and retail. His experience includes counsel to private equity investors on market entry and growth strategy, trend analysis, demand segmentation, concept development, business plan development, consumer insights, and financial and regulatory advisory. He also assisted companies in the consumer and packaged goods, durables, building materials, manufacturing, telecoms, health care and insurance sectors with entry into the Indian market.

 

Prior to joining Nielsen, Sen was vice president, retail and consumer goods, at Technopak Advisors and associate director in the advisory practice at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) India. He has also worked with Kurt Salmon Associates and A.F. Ferguson (now part of Deloitte Consulting).
