SEOUL: The Seoul G20 Business Summit has selected Fleishman-Hilllard to handle its global PR activities after a comprehensive pitch that featured several other agencies.

Fleishman has been contracted to handle visual identity, CEO support, global media relations and on-site press management for the November 2010 event.

The first G20 Business Summit will take place on the day prior to the G20 Seoul Summit at the same venue, and is expected to attract 100 global CEOs and G20 leaders to discuss the role of business in driving sustainable economic growth.

The event will also discuss such themes as revitalising trade and foreign direct investment, enhancing financial stability and the intersection of CSR and sustainability.

The Business Summit follows the G20 Summit on financial markets and the world economy that took place in late 2008, at the height of the global recession.

The business will be led by Fleishman-Hillard’s Korea office, supported by the agency’s global network.
