Sharkey Named MD of Cohn & Wolfe's U.K. Corporate Group

Andrew Sharkey has been named managing director of Cohn & Wolfe’s corporate affairs division. He will lead the 20-strong team, working alongside the firm’s existing corporate affairs director, Lee Murgatroyd.

LONDON—Andrew Sharkey has been named managing director of Cohn & Wolfe’s corporate affairs division. He will lead the 20-strong team, working alongside the firm’s existing corporate affairs director, Lee Murgatroyd. Sharkey has more that 20 years experience in consultancy and was previously a director at Luther Pendragon, Ludgate Group and Hill Murray. He is an expert in the corporate and financial services sector and has worked on major brands including Aviva, HFC Bank, Scottish Amicable and Abbey Life. He replaces Stephen Doherty, who is leaving Cohn & Wolfe to take-up a role as director of communications at Diageo. Clients of Cohn & Wolfe’s corporate affairs division include the Learning & Skills Council, Diageo, Picture Financial and London Underground.
