MINNEAPOLIS—Sharp Electronics Marketing Company of America has named Olson Engage its social media agency of record. The assignment involves leading social media and content-marketing strategy and execution for all of the company’s consumer products in the United States including the flagship Aquos television line.
The appointment builds on the relationship between Sharp and the Olson group, which was tapped in January as the AOR for consumer products advertising, digital and design.
Sharp vice president of brand marketing Mark Viken says the shift was inspired by the positive early results of the company’s work with Olson, which included a rebranding of Sharp’s Aquos TV line and a completely redesigned website.
