LONDON—U.K. consumer consultancy Shine has launched a sister agency, John Doe, in an attempt to capitalize on changing marketing communications briefs. John Doe, which will be led by former Shine executive Rana Reeves, will specialise in marrying brands with contemporary and popular culture.
The firm’s offering will include three core components: Joe Doe Strategy, providing research and development of brand campaigns that use culture to articulate brand messages; John Doe Know, which will provide clients with access to the agency’s cultural network of leaders from the worlds of fashion, art, music, media, design and celebrity alongside experts in all areas of marketing communications; and John Does, which will execute campaigns and deliver results.
Launch clients include Sony PlayStation, Ctrl.Alt.Shift and Vice Media Group.
