NEW YORK—Time Warner has hired Richard Siklos as vice president, corporate affairs. Siklos will handle external written communications and advise generally on the company's media matters. He will report to Gary Ginsberg, executive vice president, corporate affairs and marketing.
Siklos was an editor-at-large at Fortune from 2007 to 2009. Prior to that, he was the corporate media correspondent for The New York Times and the U.S. business columnist for London's Sunday Telegraph and for Canada's Globe and Mail. Siklos was also the founding editor-in-chief of Inside Magazine, served as the media editor of Business Week, and has written a column for the New York Observer.
Siklos held an adjunct professorship at New York University's Department of Media, Culture and Communications for six years before moving to Los Angeles in 2008. He has written two books and has won five Southern California Journalism Awards in 2008 and 2009.
