ATLANTA—Trevelino/Keller Communications Group has been retained by SITA, a leading global supplier of information technology and telecommunications services to the air transport industry, following an agency search.

SITA supports the travel and transportation industry’s drive to achieve profitability through innovation, simplification and lower operational costs. Following its restructuring in 2003, the SITA group posted combined revenues of $1.58 billion in 2004.

Working with the marketing and communications departments of SITA in the North American region, Trevelino/Keller’s charter is to raise the awareness of the innovative products and services the company is delivering to the travel and transportation industry. It will rely on both its Atlanta and D.C. and Virginia locations to support SITA.

“SITA has become a more entrepreneurial company in recent times and as a result, we are moving towards a global network of efficient and pro-active boutique agencies,” explains Thomas Frankl, head of corporate communications and industry relations, SITA Group. “Trevelino/Keller has a legacy of impressive technology work in the United States that maps to the type of support we need for the SITA brand.”
