NEW YORK—Crisis communications and investor relations specialist has strengthened its New York operations. Brenda Adrian, a member of the firm, has transferred to New York from Los Angeles to head Sitrick’s east coast restructuring practice, and Steven Goldberg, formerly an attorney at Kaye Scholer, has joined, also as a member of the firm.

During the past nine years, Adrian has been involved in more than 50 Chapter 11 filings, as well as a number of out-of-court restructurings. Cases have included Conseco, FAO, Global Crossing, The Loewen Group, Purina Mills, and US Airways Group.

Goldberg, who was part of Kaye Scholer’s business reorganization group, will work on corporate, financial and transactional communications issues, but will concentrate on serving the firm’s restructuring clients.

Since its founding in 1989, Sitrick And Company has been involved publicly in approximately 150 Chapter 11 cases and about 50 out-of court restructurings.
