WASHINGTON, D.C.—The International Sleep Products Association has selected Fleishman-Hillard (FH) as its agency of record to develop and execute an integrated consumer education and outreach campaign.  The FH Washington, D.C., office will anchor the account for the FH network of 35 offices nationwide. The account was previously held by Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide.

“ISPA’s partnership with Fleishman-Hillard enables us to creatively and strategically reach out to key consumer audiences, retailers and other stakeholders to spotlight the important role a quality mattress play in quality of sleep, and the undeniable relationship between quality of sleep and quality of life,” said Dick Doyle, President of ISPA.  “FH exemplifies what ISPA needs in a public relations firm—extensive consumer education experience, extraordinary national media relations capabilities, and an instinct to help our members grow their business.”

Fleishman Hillard’s primary role will be to support ISPA’s Better Sleep Council, which serves as a consumer resource for sleep and mattress information. In addition to the core consumer education strategies, public affairs and related strategic communications activities will also be a part of FH’s ongoing work.
