NEW YORK—Fast-growing New York public and investor relations firm Sloane & Company has added five new accounts in recent months.

The firm will go to work on behalf of the United Airlines Pilot’s Union in the current discussion surrounding possible Chapter 11 filing of UAL, a win agency president Elliot Sloane describes as “a validation of the 212-202 strategy we introduced last year.” The strategy seeks to combine New York-based financial communications with Washington-based public affairs.

Other wins include American Management Services, for which Sloane will handle an initiative to support local small business events in conjunction with the U.S. Conference of Mayors; Rosenbluth International, the third largest corporate travel management company in the world; IMAX, for corporate and financial PR supporting the launch of their DMR technology; and the information and technology divisions of Thales, a leading French defense and technology company.
