SmartyPig, an online savings solution that helps people save for specific goals while making accounts public so family and friends can contribute, has named GroundFloor Media as its national agency of record.

DENVER—SmartyPig, an online savings solution that helps people save for specific goals while making accounts public so family and friends can contribute, has named GroundFloor Media as its national agency of record. The Denver-based public relations firm worked with SmartyPig to prepare the company for its public launch in April and will continue to implement a national strategic public relations plan.

 

“GroundFloor Media has the creativity, strategic thinking and the media connections that will help get our message out to the masses,” says Jon Gaskell, co-founder of SmartyPig. “It is important that Americans, young and old, understand we can no longer live by credit. Reversing that ‘buy now, pay later mentality’ is what SmartyPig is all about.”
