Spices Giant McCormick Selects Weber Shandwick

Weber Shandwick has been selected as agency of record for McCormick & Company’s U.S. consumer products division following a competitive agency review. The consumer marketing practice in Chicago will provide strategic communications program development.

CHICAGO—Weber Shandwick has been selected as agency of record for McCormick & Company’s U.S. consumer products division following a competitive agency review. Weber Shandwick’s consumer marketing practice in Chicago will provide strategic communications program development and execution for several of the company’s brands.

“The Weber Shandwick team covered the breadth of our needs, from strong culinary expertise to deep experience in nutrition communications,” says Laurie Harrsen, director of consumer communications for McCormick. “And we loved its insight-driven approach to building our brands.”

McCormick was founded in 1889 in Baltimore, Md., and is now the largest spice company in the world.
