RICHMOND, VA—CRT/tanaka has been selected as the lead public relations and new media agency in support of Sprint’s vision of becoming the nation’s wireless mobility services leader. CRT/tanaka will work in concert with Sprint’s other public relations agencies to provide strategic guidance for pubic relations activities and to also lead Sprint’s new media efforts.

CRT/tanaka has had an extensive relationship with Sprint for several years, previously handling PR for the telecommunications company’s 10-year, $70 million NASCAR Nextel Cup Sponsorship.

“We are excited to engage CRT/tanaka’s strategic thinking and leadership to help continue to grow our business,” says Bill White, Sprint senior vice president of communications. “We also are eager to work with CRT/tanaka to extend our PR and marketing efforts in the new media realm: reaching countless consumers in new ways.”
