Sproule Gets Global PR, IR Role in Nissan Restructuring

As part of a restructuring that includes senior engineering and marketing executives, Nissan has named Simon Sproule, vice president of corporate communications at Nissan North America, as vice president, global communications and investor relations.

GARDENA—As part of a restructuring that includes senior engineering and marketing executives, Nissan has named Simon Sproule, vice president of corporate communications at Nissan North America, as vice president, global communications and investor relations, based at Nissan’s global headquarters in Tokyo, Japan.

Sproule joined NNA in June of 2003 from Aston Martin, Jaguar, Land Rover, where he served as their chief communications officer in North America. Previously, he held a number of communications positions with Jaguar and Ford in the US and Europe.

Replacing Sproule as vice president, corporate communications for NNA is Frederique Le Greves, currently vice president of communications, Nissan Europe. Le Greves joined Nissan Europe in April 2003 from Delphi Corporation

Scott Vazin, director of corporate affairs for NNA has been appointed general manager, corporate and product communications, for Nissan Europe, based in Paris. Replacing Vazin is Fred Standish, currently senior manager of corporate communications at NNA, based in Farmington Hills, Mich.
