NEW YORK—Me.dium, a web startup offering a downloadable browser add-on that enables users to surf with their friends, discover relevant sites and link-up with other users visiting similar sites, has selected Peppercom as its agency of record. Peppercom will launch a public relations plan to position Me.dium as a thought leader in the Internet space and increase adoption among consumer technology users.
Peppercom began its relationship with Me.dium in late 2006 and initiated an extensive media relations plan to help launch the product at the DEMO emerging technology conference in February 2007. The current media relations campaign will continue to build awareness by targeting industry trades and high-tech consumers, as well as bloggers, to educate them about Me.dium and influence user adoption.
