Stern Joins Miller Brewing in Brand PR Role

Jonathan Stern has been named senior director of brand public relations for Miller Brewing Company. Reporting to Nehl Horton, Miller’s senior vice president of communications and government affairs, Stern will lead Miller’s brand PR team of three.

MILWAUKEE—Jonathan Stern has been named senior director of brand public relations for Miller Brewing Company. Reporting to Nehl Horton, Miller’s senior vice president of communications and government affairs, Stern will lead Miller’s brand PR team of three, responsible for directing brand communication programs. He will create strategic plans to communicate key product messages, marketing objectives, programs and achievements to partners, media and customers and will be manage PR support for Miller’s full portfolio of brands.

Stern joins Miller from CKPR, the public relations division of Cramer Krasselt, where he
was senior vice president/director of the Milwaukee offices, serving a wide variety of consumer and business-to-business clients with integrated marketing needs. Prior to CKPR, he was director of marketing and communications for NYC2012, charged with promoting New York for selection to host the 2012 Olympic Games. He also held positions with Dan Klores Communications, Burson-Marsteller, Bozell Worldwide and the National Basketball Association.

The search was handled by New York-based public relations search specialist Heyman Associates.
