Storey to Lead Communications for Wireless Trade Group

CTIA, the wireless industry trade association, has hired Amy Storey as its new director of external communications. Prior to joining CTIA, Storey was the vice president of the corporate reputation and technology practice for Fleishman-Hillard.

WASHINGTON, D.C.—CTIA, the wireless industry trade association, has hired Amy Storey as its new director of external communications.

 

Prior to joining CTIA, Storey was the vice president of the corporate reputation and technology practice for Fleishman-Hillard International Communications in Washington, D.C., where she provided communication and public affairs support and served as lead staff for key technology and wireless communications accounts. Before her time at Fleishman-Hillard, Storey was a project coordinator for Wisconsin Governor Jim Doyle, a position in which she fulfilled multiple roles, including lead staff person for First Lady Jessica Doyle, event coordinator, and surrogate scheduler for the Doyle for Wisconsin campaign.

 

Storey began her career as campaign manager and legislative aide for Wisconsin State Senator Kevin Shibilski, where she served as the lead staff person in coordination of a contested state-wide lieutenant governor race.
