LONDON—SWIFT, a member-owned co-operative that connects over 9,000 banking organizations, securities institutions and corporate customers across 209 countries and enables them to share standardized financial information, has hired Fishburn Hedges as its U.K. and corporate communications agency.

Fishburn Hedges will work with SWIFT to raise the profile of the organization and its business activities, specifically in the U.K. Fishburn Hedges will also work in co-operation with SWIFT's local and regional agencies (including FH's GFC/net partners Intermarket in the U.S. and Charles Barker in Germany) to raise the profile of the cooperative worldwide.

In addition, the agency will support SWIFT's media relations efforts around its annual event, Sibos, which this year will be held in Amsterdam, October 25-29.

Says Jeremy Cohen, head of external communications at SWIFT: "Fishburn Hedges impressed us with its knowledge of the financial services industry and ability to provide creative and strategic ideas to raise SWIFT's profile locally and globally.”
