GOLDEN VALLEY, MN—Syngenta Seeds has selected two Interpublic Group agencies, Weber Shandwick and Campbell Mithun, to serve as agencies of record for public relations and advertising, respectively, for its corn and soybean business programs following a competitive review.

Weber Shandwick’s Minneapolis-St. Paul and Chicago offices and Campbell Mithun will work as an integrated team to develop branding and strategic communications programs for several of the company’s brands in North America. Campbell Mithun will also develop, execute and place all advertising and other marketing communications.

“Both Weber Shandwick and Campbell Mithun bring a wealth of experience, passion and strategic thinking to our brand and marketing communications,” says Bruce Howison, vice president of marketing for Syngenta Seeds.

Syngenta is a global agribusiness ranking third in the commercial seeds market and an industry leader in crop protection.
