NEWARK, Cal., November 2—Technology public relations veterans Elizabeth Albrycht and Jennifer McClure have launched Albrycht McClure & Partners, a “virtual” public relations and marketing communications firm, that will work with emerging companies “to create and implement strong and consistent communications programs built on strategies and tactics designed to position and differentiate them in often-crowded markets.”

In addition to the expertise of its founders, the agency will draw on a select, nationwide network of marketing and public relations experts, offering a wider range of services and the flexibility to create and implement comprehensive, customized programs with a low overhead. Services include corporate message development and communication, press/analyst tours and ongoing press/analyst relations, trade show management, and VNR production and distribution.

“Our unique network of high-level marketing professionals offers our clients an unprecedented one-stop marketing communications shop at a fraction of the price,” says Elizabeth Albrycht, partner and co-founder.  “Furthermore, our agency network addresses one of the most common complaints of clients:  the lack of personal attention by experienced practitioners. All of us have at least 10 years of experience.”

Albrycht has expertise in enterprise business-to-business hardware, software and networking companies.  She has worked with large companies, such as IBM and Sony as well as with start-ups including salesforce.com, Electric Knowledge, and Healtheon. She worked for TSI Communications Worldwide (now part of Golin/Harris) for nearly six years in both its New York City and Silicon Valley offices, most recently as senior vice president president with responsibility for strategy, account management and business development. Before joining TSI she was a communications manager at Gemini Consulting.

McClure has worked with Fortune 500 companies as well as high-tech start-ups. Previously, she was the public relations manager for ZD Events and worked at Ketchum Public Relations. She also managed her own public relations and marketing consulting firm in New York from 1992 to 1996 and was vice president of research and publishing for New Electronic Media Science.

“This assemblage of expertise across a wide range of public relations and marketing disciplines offers a tremendous value proposition to clients,” says Bill King, vice president of marketing at InfiniCon Systems and a client of the new firm.
