NEW YORK—Burson-Marsteller has hired Tony Telloni as New York market leader to oversee its New York operations and lead the strategic direction of its headquarters. Telloni will be responsible for client service, new business development and the management and growth of Burson-Marsteller in the New York region. He will work closely with the firm’s U.S. leadership team, while partnering with other firms in the group, including BKSH, Direct Impact, Marsteller and Penn, Schoen & Berland Associates. Telloni will report to Patrick Ford, U.S. President and CEO.
Telloni spent the past four years at Edelman, most recently as senior vice president and deputy general manager for the New York consumer brands division, providing strategic counsel, corporate and brand positioning and ongoing product communications support to a variety of leading consumer brands.
Prior to Edelman, Telloni held senior positions within the industry at both FitzGerald Communications and Ruder Finn. His background includes extensive consumer and corporate marketing experience, leading campaigns and consulting engagements in the automotive, aviation, healthcare, packaged goods and technology sectors.
