AUSTIN—The Patriot Group, a new Texas-based public affairs firm, has opened for business in Austin, Dallas, and Houston to assist corporations, issue advocacy groups, political candidates, non-profits, governments, and individuals with challenges in the fields of business, politics, litigation and government.

Principals are Denis Calabrese, former chief of staff to then-House Majority Leader Richard Armey; Kevin Brannon, who spent nine years working for Senator Phil Gramm; Ryan Gravatt, a former newspaper editor and expert in online public affairs; Anthony Holm, who was special projects director for Texas Governor Rick Perry; Jill Warren, former counsel to Bracewell & Giuliani’s government affairs practice; and Matt Welch, who was Director of Texans For Lawsuit Reform Political Action Committee.

“The Patriot Group values the principles of free enterprise, liberty, and limited government. We interview our clients just as they interview us, so we can all work together toward a common goal with our hearts and our minds,” says Patriot principal Jill Warren.
